Double take of the day. (So far, it’s still early.) Rishi Sunak’s local electricity network has been upgraded to meet the power demands of his new swimming pool. Maybe read that twice.

If you want to do something in Recruitment, with purpose and not just forming to true yet old fashioned stereotypes that can still exist, it would be fantastic to see if my trainee recruitment roles are right, for you! Message me or reply below #recruitment #education #SEN
I support any route into teaching and have learned to accept everything is marketing, needs to be refreshed.
If the program is effective or a new badge on a traditional method that works, good.
That being said, can't have the fiasco and snobbery there was towards QTLS
🎓 The government has confirmed it is developing a teaching apprenticeship route for non-graduates
Trainees taking up the route would gain both a degree and qualified teacher status, under plans being drawn up by officials

It’s a very high bar but this might be Boris Johnson’s most duplicitous & irresponsible intervention yet. The absurdity of threatening Sunak for abiding by the terms of a treaty Johnson signed is off the charts. Supporters & client journalists are too thick or too bent to admit.

Context is always everything, if nothing else, you’d either get an explanation or had been helpful and informative
Disturbed to see 2 very young kids going to school on their own this morning 🫤 looked to be about 6 & 8 sat outside the school at 8.05 on the pavement on phones. Am I overstepping to ring school & raise a concern or should I leave it? #safeguarding #edutwitter @Headteacherchat
#ghostherd is no where near as good as it thinks it is, comes across as a bit smug…or not as enlightening as it seems to think @CrimeWritersOn

Dear @GillianKeegan,
The saddest thing about working in education, at the moment, is that it’s getting harder and harder to recommend it as a career to other people.
It didn’t used to be that way.
Yours,
School Staff.
The press have caused the horrific commentary reNicola Bulley, the cringe+crude coverage that Sky opened with 2weeks ago, same w/the liverpool shooting at Xmas. demeaning to the victims, horrifically transparent. Police are continuing to gaslight women with their comments yday

I’m assuming English is Zelenski’s 3rd, at least, language. Anyone with the same skill set, always happily be humbled and in a fair amount of awe

The quality of #ExtraordinaryonHulu #extraordinary really drops off after episode 5, in a way I’ve rarely seen. Like someone new took over
