I’m am so fortunate to have been part of @tularetrophycup a few years ago. What a fantastic event at an incredible racetrack.

Went over to Dad’s earlier today. Saw this just randomly setting out. Just a little reminder that he was pretty badass in his day. Running, much less winning @FastestHalfMile with a bolt on cage and an open face helmet isn’t for everyone.

California racers have been know to get labeled as terrorists by fellow racers. Tonight we get to watch the @WorldofOutlaws on what could be an interesting evening at Ventura. Apparently DHS got wind of this and they are on standby. 😜

Night 1 in a 410 for @GHR_64 at @atticaracewyprk. The 360’s have been fun, but I’m excited to get back to our home tracks for the remainder of the summer.

I am so blessed to have recently met Terry. I tried to hide that I went into full fan boy mode. While we know his name from being a great racer, to me, his legacy is an incredible family of racers that carry on racing today.
Farewell, racer. Terry Pletch passed away today at the age of 79. The Frankfort, Indiana native made 98 national starts across a USAC career that spanned from 1982-2006, predominantly in his own Pletch Pools #29. His incredible drive from 21st to 1st to win the Indiana Sprint Week round at Terre Haute in 1999 (with a flat right front tire) remains one of the most iconic moments in USAC history. He even called his shot earlier in the night on the ESPN2 broadcast, saying "I can win it from the tail, good lord willing." What a way to get your one & only career USAC victory. Thank you for the memories, Terry. 📸 John Mahoney

The number of different bullets Brenham dodged is insane. Pieces of his and the 77 car were poking all over inside that cockpit. Plus the car didn’t take another cage impact after it was compromised. God had his hand on him today.
The chassis on the 5 car after that accident.

Never underestimate the desire your crew members have to win. These guys willingly did whatever it took to get him out there. While I agree that another rule is unfortunately coming, let’s enjoy seeing guys giving their all while it’s still legal.
As badass as this looks, I bet there is a new rule in the near future!!!

Maintaining a 2 seat sprint car is pretty much the same as a normal car. But taking care of the safety gear definitely isn’t the same. Thank you @stephlinder312 for all your work making sure everything is ready to go. But I’m torn on which length drapes look better.

A few weeks ago we got to run the @HighLimitRacing show at @FremontSpeedway. While the results didn’t end up like we hoped, it was definitely fun to race with @Cole_Macedo18 and see the 312 on the track again. Thank you so much to all that made this possible!

Dad gave a few pictures tonight. Guess I thought I was a tough guy a long time ago. And what was mom thinking on that haircut?

Let’s all take a moment and thank the corner workers, EMT’s, push trucks, etc from each track across the country. They voluntarily sign up to rush to aid someone who they might not know when that person is most vulnerable. They deserve much more credit than they typically get!

Some wives go to their husband’s office to see how comfortable his chair is or maybe why he seems irritated when he gets home. But for Holly Macedo, this office visit was a little more intense. But at least the chair is comfy!

A day off of work lets me get to play and learn more about how different stumble valves act. It’s really fun to have cool tools to work with!

The amount of young, talented racers coming from micros right now is incredible. These kids show up 90% trained to run sprint cars on night one. The future of sprint car racing is in some good (and extremely young) hands.

This applies to all aspects of life.
Stay teachable. Ego is expensive. The moment you think you’ve got nothing left to learn is the moment growth stops. Humility keeps you sharp, disciplined, and ready for what’s next.
