I have long said an intentional tip drill is the best thing you can do in a complete desperation situation (under 10 seconds deep in your own end)
Curious if the Sixers are going to load manage LeBron & Embiid, are you better off sitting both in the same game or staggering the off days? I could see it either way. In this scenario with Bucks/Pistons, might be better to play them both Sunday
This is all well and good except for excluding that Matt Nagy won 12 games with Mitch Trubisky because of Vic Fangio’s defense.
One thing that's laughable: Once Vikings gave up on JJ McCarthy, the narrative was if Kevin O'Connell didn't want him, he was never going to be any good. When did KOC become Bill Walsh? He got credit for Sam Darnold, but it was the year with Kyle Shanahan in SF behind Brock Purdy that turned around Sam's career. Shouldn't KOC at least win his first playoff game before he's considered some QB genius? Maybe he turns out to be right about McCarthy, but let's see how he does with @Giants. KOC is 5-0 in Minnesota this season because of Brian Flores's defense, not because of Kyler Murray and journeyman Carson Wentz. Remember, Giants OC Matt Nagy won 11 games with Mitchell Trubisky when he was Bears HC.
Somehow the Eagles have scored more points over the last 2 weeks than the “Greatest Offense There Is”
Positive sign for Saquon but also very positive sign for Landon Dickerson’s return this week. Now 2 open roster spots.
Would be nice to have Saquon, DeVonta, Goedert, and then Mailata/Dickerson/Kendall/Steen/Bell up front.

Hey, good news! I just simulated the season and there's still a scenario where the Eagles can win the NFC East with a 4-12-1 record.
Lost in the pure insanity that has been the Eagles the last two weeks:
Cam Jurgens still has not cleared concussion protocol for the Ravens and missed 2 games since the trade. Hope he’s better and back out there soon. Was always crazy to me he got traded while in protocol.
Today is flex day for Eagles-Commanders on 11/1. I can’t fathom how they keep it on SNF. No Hurts. No McLaurin. The only draw is it’s probably an elimination game. But don’t think that’s gonna cut it.
Eagles finishing the season with a different starting QB, since 2005:
2005: McNabb-McMahon
2006: McNabb-Garcia
2007: McNabb-Feeley
2010: Kolb-Vick
2012: Vick-Foles
2013: Vick-Foles
2014: Foles-Sanchez
2017: Wentz-Foles
2018: Wentz-Foles
2020: Wentz-Hurts
2026: Hurts-McKee
I’ve kind of separated Sirianni as an offensive coach out of the equation. He’s just a head coach. No one turned to John Harbaugh to fix their offense OR defense. Just have your team ready to play. He generally does that.
Devonta Smith & Jonathan Greenard back is a huge plus. Drew Kendall playing would be big. I’m guessing they don’t activate anyone off IR for this one and give it another week. Then many decisions will need to be made.
