Have you asked Black Women who they want as their next leader?
Black Women are looking at @RepPressley.
Is there a reason you are stepping out in front of Black Women?
How about House Speaker?
@HouseDemocrats
🙌🏾
Gary Chambers, of Louisiana, deserves recognition for the years he has been organizing and advocating for the Black community to exercise their democratic right to vote and self determination. In this political moment Stacey Abrams , Charles Blow, Roland Martin, Senate candidate Angie Nixon have been recognized for engaging the Black vote in the South which was the catalyst of this “Blue” wave. Add this man’s name to the list who is carrying the legacy of the Civil Rights movement in Louisiana. Thank you @GaryChambersJr We still have work to do!!! In honor of the blood on that ballot box. Black women have spoken @SenSchumer do not seek the seat.
It’s time for new leadership.
What makes me so mad about this is how quickly they stepping out in front of Black Women and new leaders who delivered this win. Fffffssss 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
If the question isn’t:
Who would Black Women like to see lead the Democrats, then the @HouseDemocrats have learned nothing.
This was the people’s victory led by Black Women. And I believe that Black Women want @RepPressley as the new speaker.
Don’t make this a civil war.
For the record- as Black Women are largely responsible for this victory, Black Women have spoken and would like @RepPressley as the next Speaker of the House.
We need to listen to Black Women and ask them who the next leader will be.

#AyannaPressley for SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE!
Thank you for saying this! 🙌🏾
I believe that Black Women, who are largely responsible for this victory, have voted for @AyannaPressley as the Next Speaker of the House.
Dems: it would be best if you listened @HouseDemocrats
Y’all need to stop trying to turn this Hakeem Jeffries situation into a race issue. For many of us, it’s about his unwavering support for Israel while our tax dollars fund what we believe is genocide. And you conveniently leave out that we don’t want Chuck Schumer either. Schumer isn’t Black. The opposition is for the same reason. It’s about policy, not race.
