This is WILD. Best RB in the Big 12 (LJ Martin) doing MULTIPLE group projects by himself because his group members “bailed” on him.

Which BYU team is going to show up in Salt Lake City? 🤔
The team that beat No. 2 Notre Dame or the team that's struggled against UCF and Arizona State?
With No. 3 Utah up next, the Cougars can't afford another lackluster performance. 🔥

Dating back to the beginning of the 2024 season, BYU (29-4) has the second-best record in all of college football (roughly 130 total teams).
The only team with a better record in this time frame than the Cougars is the 2026 national champion Indiana Hoosiers, who are 33-3 since August 2024.
I cannot emphasize the previous two paragraphs enough. Please go back and read them again right now.
In other words, the Cougars (and the Hoosiers) have a better record than roughly 130 teams, as I just mentioned.
That includes Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Georgia, Miami, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, and the rest of the SEC & Big Ten.
If your response is asking us who we’ve played or questioning the strength of our schedule, we just played Notre Dame and look what happened.
So spot the ball and let’s settle it on the field, unless, of course, you’d rather opt out like Notre Dame did in 2025. Kalani Sitake is scared of nobody, and neither are his coaches or players.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. Forgive my excessive use of commas and parentheses. It’s 3:30 a.m., and I’m ranting.
And the reason I’m ranting is because I lived through the 4-9 2017 season and the 5-7 2023 season, along with a slew of other painful losses and seasons.
I occasionally write for @TrueBlue_Cougar, and you can find more of my work there. I’d love more opportunities to cover the Cougs in different settings and expand my work with legitimate local media outlets.
And finally, I apologize if none of that made any sense. But again, thanks for reading, especially if you made it this far.
So apparently ESPN College Gameday opened the pit a few hours ago. They usually don't open it until 4am on Saturday morning. Best fans in the world.

Who's in and who's out for both teams as of Wednesday night ⬇️⬇️
Playing at a high level without them is impressive, but getting Raider Damuni, Isaiah Glasker, and Cannon DeVries back would be huge for the BYU defense.
@MintyBuck gives us the full Wednesday night injury report and game status for both teams:

Who should be the guest picker in Provo this weekend? 🤔
With GameDay returning for the first time since 2009, we look at the top candidates, the history, and what’s at stake against Notre Dame.

New article from Michael Peterson! I’ve got one coming out soon, too, so stay tuned for that.
Only "one to two" BYU players could start at Notre Dame? 😳
From dismissive pundit quotes to years of scheduling double-standards, the disrespect heading into Provo is loud.
Michael Peterson, founder of True Blue Cougar, does a deep dive letting you know exactly where Notre Dame stands with BYU.

Kalani Sitake’s comments during Monday’s media availability suggest BYU could have the following players back and available against Notre Dame:
Starting LB Isaiah Glasker
Starting LB Siale Esera
Starting Safety Raider Damuni
Starting NICKEL & Returner Cannon DeVries
2nd string RB Sione Moa
Tidbit from my latest article for @TrueBlue_Cougar
Roderick then addressed LJ Martin’s early departure due to injury.
“A huge part of our game plan was to get him going, and we had a lot of plays for him that I thought would have been good (had he not gotten hurt),” he said.
That’s tough to hear, especially considering Martin was coming off a three-touchdown performance in just one quarter against Colorado State before the bye week.
