Learn the signs, keep naloxone (Narcan) accessible, and don’t hesitate to call 911. #InternationalOverdoseAwarenessDay #Narcan #OverdosePrevention

After six weeks of Saturday sessions, the Role Models of Today, Creating Leaders of Tomorrow program has officially come to an end! Spearheaded by Chief Delrish Moss and Senior Park & Recreation Manager Reginal Taylor, the program brought students together to complete projects, build life skills, and learn from elected officials, department directors, and other inspiring role models. Professionals shared their life experience and shortcuts to becoming a leader. To celebrate their dedication and commitment, each student received a surprise monetary gift that was collected by Miramar Police Officers and presented by Chief Moss. Congratulations to all of our students! 👏🎓✨ #MiramarPD #ServingOurCommunity
