the greatest crypto thesis/narrative, and the reason why BTC is at a 1.5tn market cap, is the SoV thesis there has never realistically been anything close to BTC, but now in the current environment that thesis for BTC is legitimately challenged due to quantum/ai etc there is quite a clear front-runner right now as the challenger, ZEC (actively solving for and made strides wrt privacy+quantum), which is still just 1.5% of the total mkt cap of BTC in the land of "big coins" (ignore memecoins/lowcaps etc as those always have different r/r profiles), over the course of the upcoming crypto cycle, i really don't see why you would own anything else, because there is literally nothing else that can challenge that narrative...like the SoV narrative is the ultimate king of everything, and we have a unique situation where there are very legitimate reasons why ZEC can challenge BTC imo for a bit more context, i faded the entire ZEC move for the best part of a year and just labelled it as a scam/KOL thing in my head, but also never really bothered to look into it much coz i wasn't actively trading or investing - probably one of my biggest regrets coz it's one of those things once u spend a bit of time trying to "get it", you really "get it" without question, the "thesis" has certainly become much stronger, because what was once prophecies of hacks and exploits due to advances in ai/quantum and general technology, has now become a complete and total reality recent price action and outperformance also shows you what the market is beginning to appreciate i often ask myself the question "where do i safely keep my cash?" and for a long time BTC was the answer, but that changed in the past couple of years anyway this is EXACTLY the type of tweet to cause a local top so i'm sorry about that, but for me this isn't like a quick scalp or a 2-3 week trade, i think this is one i'm gonna wanna hold as the cycle progresses, while trying to rotate more profits into it if ur hating on it, which a lot of CT does, my only advice is to be honest and ask urself if u actually ever spent some good time trying to think things through and understand it, and if u have then fair enough, but if u haven't then i suggest u do, coz that's what changed it for me cheers
