Today is @DayOfWelcome and we have been learning about some of the difficulties people seeking sanctuary can face. Year 1 and 2 loved reading Bobble and listening to Gulwali Passarlay share his thoughts and experiences 🫶🏻@StBrigidsCPS @SchsofSanctuary @mrsburnsstbr
Thank you to Kirsten @shareknowsley for coming to visit us this morning to talk about Refugees and migration 🧡We thought about what we would take with us if we had to leave our home countries, what we would miss and the difficulties we may face.

Thank you to Mrs Suku for coming to visit all classes. We heard her grandfather’s story about how he was a refugee from Sierra Leone and how he came to live in Liverpool. We asked questions and then we looked at his special tribal mask and some of us tried this on! @StBrigidsCPS
