No revenge, because their biggest punishment is who they are. Some people ruin good things with their own attitude, choices, and the way they treat others. Life already makes them sit with the consequences of being that kind of person. And honestly, I don't need to get even or make them feel what they made me feel. I'd rather protect my peace and let distance do its job. Not every hurt needs revenge, and not every betrayal needs a reaction. Sometimes the best closure is leaving them where they chose to stand.
