Everyone wants the outcome.
Almost no one wants the boring days that create it.
Do the boring work.
Watch everything change.

Give me someone who notices when I'm tired, pulls me close, rubs my back, and makes me feel loved without having to ask. That's the kind of wealth money can't buy. ❤️

MY FRIEND SAID, “DON’T WORRY, I GOT YOU
Last Saturday, my friend Brian invited me to lunch.
“Order whatever you want,” he said confidently. “Today, I'm paying.”
I looked at him twice.
This was the same man who once borrowed money from me and paid me back in three installments.
But he looked serious, so I ordered a proper meal.
Brian ordered an even bigger one.
We ate, laughed, and talked about life. For once, I felt like I had a financially responsible friend.
Then the waiter brought the bill.
Brian picked it up, looked at the total, and suddenly became quiet.
“Bro, this is more expensive than I expected,” he said.
I stared at him.
“Didn't you say you were paying?”
“I am! I just didn't know lunch could cost this much!”
He checked the money in his wallet and sighed.
“Bro, I'm short. Can you help me cover the difference? I'll pay you back.”
I checked my own wallet.
That was when I realized we had a serious problem..
