Can we please avoid immediately labeling people as supporters of child labor exploitation when they’re only JUST finding out and learning about the JRUHUB situation? Please give people time to understand the facts and learn about what’s actually going on. I understand that some people prefer to give a more “tough love” approach when educating others, but pointing fingers at people who are genuinely still trying to understand the whole truth isn’t always the best way to go about it. Some people may have formed personal connections or professional relationships with these "artists", even if those relationships turned out to be built on a facade. It can be difficult to process that kind of information, especially when you’re only just learning about everything that’s happened. They just wanted to support an artist at the end of the day. Of course they're gonnna at first be shocked and also see at face value like MYSELF, first seemed unfair THEN saw why it was actually happening. There are better ways to approach these conversations that encourage people to listen, learn, and understand the situation rather than feel attacked for not knowing everything from the start. I'm ngl, so many people have given Arc Raiders a hard time, but seeing how dedicated the devs have been to squashing cheaters since these issues arose, despite all the whining and hate they've received since the game came out. They've continued doing everything in their power to give us the best possible gaming experience and compensation when we were caught by a cheater unfairly in game, even through all the negativity, worked their absolute hardest towards a solution overtime with their new current anti cheat. But with the Wardogs situation, it's honestly horrid to watch as an outsider. As a fellow OCE player who almost exclusively plays on NA servers, whether solo or competitively, I've always been happy to deal with the high ping if it means I can keep playing with friends. I'd much rather put up with that and the cheaters in the meantime than see region locking become the answer. Your players deserve a better solution. I was seriously considering getting the game, but honestly, I'm glad I waited. If things change, I might reconsider later down the line, but I'm sure there's a better way to handle this. I know they're completely different games, but a cheater is a cheater, no matter what game. It's a constant game of cat and mouse, and there will always be cheaters regardless of what you do. But region locking isn't the answer. Seeing such a strong wave of negative feedback and rejection, with seemingly nothing positive on the horizon to keep people engaged in the meantime, is going to leave a bad taste in people's mouths, even when "the real fix" eventually arrives. I'm really tired, but I hope my post makes sense 😩
