The Royal Standard pub is on the corner of Sheldon Street and Wandle Road in Croydon Old Town. I'm told that the river Wandle (or a tributary to it) flows underneath. @Wandle_WIM would know! (Sheldon Street is named after an archbishop of Canterbury buried at the Croydon Minster)

The museum offer free workshops to schools about the textile industry. Focused on Morris & Co and Liberty Print Works it enables children to learn about a period in the Victorian and Edwardian period.
