I got back into Magic in May and ended up going to 3 RCQs with Affinity. I Top 4'd twice and 0-2'd the other. I'm usually down on myself with Magic, but I'm 10-3-3 in the swiss in my last four events—which makes me hopeful. Looking forward to standard and a chance to make an RC.
I tinkered with the deck between events, eventually arriving at what I have now. I didn't like ravenous robots or ravager. I was on 18 lands for a bit, but went back to 17/sink. I thought about loki/emry, but turned that down, as well.
A few days late, but Annie never truly leaves my mind. It's such a blessing to see her face everyday.
And, so, my trip to Korea comes to an end. The last six weeks have been some of the greatest of my life. My fiancée was the perfect host as always and I'll forever cherish this time we spent together. Leaving is bittersweet, but I can't wait to return next year.
Mission accomplished @Artosis @CallMeTasteless . I had a great time in Philly. More content to come!
It's been one day and one year since Dottie arrived and she's been incredible since day one. I'm glad to have given a great doggy a great home.
I'm heading back to the US in two days, but what a trip it's been. Huge thanks to my fiancée for being perfect, Wax for helping out and all the players I interviewed. Congrats to Classic for his long deserved victory. Don't go anywhere GSL. I'll be back next year.
It's been two years without Annie and I still think of her every day. Thankfully I can still see her when I sit down at my computer. I know she would have approved of Dottie had they met :) <3
She's already been here for six months so I figure this post is long overdue. Everyone, meet Dottie.
Today I had to say goodbye to the one and only Big Annie. Annie was my best friend and companion. She stuck by me no matter what. She was loving, empathic and kind. She put a smile on the face of everyone who met her. I'll miss her, but I'll never forget her. RIP Big Annie.
