It’s because she is a woman. Misogyny doesn’t need a deeper explanation tbh.
There's gotta be some deeper reason why all these news outlets are running a smear campaign on this girl it's getting real weird

i cackled because this tweet sounds exactly like an argument mutia would make and then swear that he's the beginner and finisher of logic. may god actually help you people on this twt 237.
Misogyny is such a fascinating exercise in illogical reasoning. A male pilot jumps to his death, and a female student pilot successfully lands a plane in an emergency. Nobody questions whether men should be allowed to fly. But let a woman who wasn’t even piloting scream in an emergency, and suddenly she’s evidence that women shouldn’t be pilots. A man’s failure is an individual tragedy. A woman’s fear becomes an indictment of her entire gender.

No one with a basic understanding of feminism genuinely believes that individually earning money is a real systemic solution to misogyny. People are telling you to earn you own money as a safety net when you inevitably fall victim to misogyny
“Have your own money” feminism is doing considerable damage to the feminist movement, and it is funny how many feminists seem blind to it. Misogyny is not something that happens exclusively to financially dependent women. Wealthy, educated, female and financially independent women experience misogyny, domestic violence, sexual exploitation and discrimination. We are prescribing individualistic solutions to systemic and collective problems. We are telling women to find personal ways to survive oppression rather than challenging the structures that make that oppression possible in the first place. Financial independence can give a woman options, but it cannot, on its own, dismantle misogyny. We need to stop confusing individual survival strategies with collective liberation.

Misogyny, colourism, menicisetal statetism, cankerous tribalism, ethnocentric chauvinism, syphilitic parochialism, epileptic nepotism, cataleptic parapoism and state brigandish, of the bluest dye.
Love island Nigeria?? We’re about to see misogyny we have never seen before 😭

Men calling women bad drivers when men still cause 73- 78% of fatal and serious car crashes. Men calling women “too emotional” when men commit 80 - 88% of violent crimes (and most war crimes) yet also form 80 - 86% of police and security forces maintaining law and order. Men calling women “dependent” even though women still perform about three times more unpaid care and domestic work worldwide. Men calling women “overly sensitive” even though women score higher in cognitive empathy across 57 countries.

cardi is a complex situation because she did hustle her way out of poverty and she's been very transparent about it. she wants that to her legacy, so when people remind her that her success isn't solely a product of hard work, she feels diminished. i hope she works through that.
Colorism seems to be a real trigger for cardi. I wonder why

privileged people don't like to be reminded of their privilege. it's like how nepo babies start writing essays about how much they work each time someone mentions nepotism.
Colorism seems to be a real trigger for cardi. I wonder why

I call it rape trafficking because traffickers aren't selling sex, they're selling rape. People don't go through traffickers because they want sex, they go through traffickers because they want to rape someone. It's fun for them to violate & exploit people. Thats the "game".

this is rape culture btw. even if the man was butt naked, it's not an invitation to objectify him, are you people ok?
“Stop sexualizing him” and that man is oiled up in underwear showing his PRINT…. 😭

I’ve learned that physically healthy, able-bodied people think they can “earn” their health. That if they eat right, exercise, and “don’t be lazy,” they’ll be able-bodied forever. This belief is the insidious underbelly of every piece of disability or healthcare legislation.
One of the most effective ways to keep people from questioning an unjust system is to convince them that their ability to survive it makes them morally superior to those who can't.

privilege is not the absence of hard work, privilege is the ability to see your hard work come to fruition. cardi is by far one of the hardest working artists of my generation, but we simply do not live in a world where a dark skin, crooked tooth, acne faced cardi could thrive.
The reason why im giving this statement is because ya like to clip my lives… So ima give ya this and go. If we going to talk about what I said lets talk about everything that I said in the 15 minute live from 2024 that got cut down to 13 seconds. I know that colorism is real  I never denied that I seen it for myself. When I worked in the strip club, I seen how men treated me and how they treated dark skin women… I can never dismiss how colorism affects dark skin women and men in general. Not just in the work place but in the justice system as well. And I have stood up for it plenty of times . But what Im always going to stand up for is that my skin tone is not solely the reason for my success. Maybe some of ya missed a chapter but let me tell ya a little bit about my come up… and I have the right to talk about it because it was my experience. When i was coming up people saw my skin last. They saw my teeth first.. the acne on my forehead.. my dusty braids and they called me a dirty stripper. I wasnt the traditional beauty standard that made a man or a label want to invest in me. My skin tone wasnt enough to convince anyone I was a star. Everybody said no!! they said it wasn’t gonna happen for me because i wasn’t the kinda woman people wanted to see. I had to work my ass off to get where I am ..I had to prove and I still gotta prove over and over again that im more than the way i speak.. more than the way i look.. and more than the color of my skin. This is the exact reason why I was defending myself then and im defending myself now. There are other light skinned women in this industry who got the same access as me but haven't gotten the same deals or opportunities as me and I addressed this on that live. and thats where it comes down to your true marketing value. I take pride in studying my audience learning the consumer and being reliable. Yes it may be easier for a light skin woman to get her foot in the door compared to a darker skin woman and ive never denied that.. but what keeps you in the room is the work… the strategy… the consistency AND the talent. I work hard to get in these rooms and I work harder to stay there… and I also work hard for ya cuz low key I work for you. The fans are the boss 😘   Am i upset with Mona?? Yes!!  You been in my DMs for years asking me about personal advice… surgery advice.. and career advice. If my success is because of my light skin why you asking me how to pitch yourself and how to get brand deals?? We have talked about so many different things and out of all the things we talked about why you couldnt ask me about a 13 second clip you saw from a 15 minute live in 2024 where i addressed everything that you bringing up? You went out your way to make a video with no context when this wasnt even a topic on no blogs and no platforms.. literally nobody was talking about this. Why would you go on your platform to talk about something you were misinformed about instead of doing your due diligence or at least hitting me up like you do about anything else? I know why … because you decided to use me and a sensitive topic as a scapegoat. a topic I havent talked about in years that you randomly brought up. And now im getting dragged for it. You used me as shield because you was under fire for the backlash you was getting for talking about Tia Kemp another black woman all because she was selling more tickets than you! Because according to you… Tia Kemp dont do stand up comedy to your taste. Why do you think youre more deserving than her? Because you light skinned with a fat ass??? Then you claim you were bigging me up.. same way you fake gave Tia some props and then tore her down… but what you was really doin was taking my success away and saying its all because of my skin tone. Whats that if its not colorism? I will never not acknowledge the prejudice in our system… we can acknowledge that reality without diminishing my accomplishments or my experience.

A woman can be drunk and half clothed and won't be raped if there's not a rapist in the room. Liquor and clothing don't cause rape, rapist do.
