The plant behind that line was Savli, near Vadodara, India’s first wholly owned foreign rolling-stock factory, set up in about 18 months. By October 2012, it had already delivered its 600th car to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). Most of Delhi Metro’s Bombardier MOVIA fleet was built there. The same site, now Alstom, later manufactured RRTS trainsets and exported metro cars and bogies.
This was the Gujarat story he was selling before it became national policy: invite capital, build capacity and put Indian workers on a global product.

That’s how “professional” Airtel operates.
I had an issue with my WiFi and registered a complaint through the app yesterday. They scheduled the visit for today, but the assigned technician didn’t even bother picking up calls. Then, without any resolution, the request was automatically rescheduled to tomorrow.
I spoke to customer support multiple times and every single time they assured me it had been marked as “priority” and would be resolved by 5 PM.
It’s already past 6 PM and there’s still no sign of any technician.
Absolutely pathetic service and zero accountability. Worst experience.
