Mohan Plc is playing its humble role, not only by manufacturing footwear & important inputs for Ethiopian manufacturing units but also by readily providing imported raw materials for plastic & paint industries ex-stock from Dire Dawa Free Trade Zone @EthioInvestment @MohanPlc
Ethiopia’s push to ditch foreign imports is gaining real traction, bringing Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s earlier vision to parliament into sharp focus. In a world constantly shaken by trade wars and supply shocks, making things at home is no longer just smart policy; it’s a matter of national survival.
Driven by the administration's overarching synergy philosophy and the "Ethiopia Tamirt," or "Made in Ethiopia," national movement, the country’s manufacturing sector has seen a significant revitalization.

@MohanPlc under the leadership of @mayuraddis has been a recipient of a loyal tax payer’s award under the Gold category. We were honored to receive this award from H.E. Dr. @AbiyAhmedAli , Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of #Ethiopia.
Congratulations to the awardees of the 6th Annual Loyal Taxpayers Recognition Ceremony!
Your commitment to fulfilling your civic duty is commendable. Trustworthiness begins with the individual, and paying taxes is not just a responsibility but a reflection of that trust. It is an obligation we all share for the greater good.
In return, the government will honor that trust by ensuring your taxes are used wisely—investing in vital public goods and national projects like the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), which are essential for our collective progress.
While there has been positive change in tax collection, we must continue this momentum. Reducing corruption and modernizing our tax collection systems are critical to creating a more transparent, efficient, and fair process for all.
