All fintech companies combined capture about 4% of total global financial-services revenues, while traditional financial-services companies account for the remaining ~96%. Yet the financial services industry is going through two massive technological shifts right now with crypto and AI. This is our opportunity, and the transformation is happening fast. Crypto is replacing the rails: stablecoins let anyone move money anywhere, instantly and almost free; tokenization lets anyone own any asset; and onchain markets let them trade it around the clock. The Senate has had CLARITY for a year. Since then, lawmakers have negotiated hundreds of pages of changes, reached agreement on SEC and CFTC nominations, and secured unprecedented ethics commitments. The crypto and banking industry have compromised as well. That’s how legislation is supposed to work. No one gets everything. Everyone gets most of what they need. At this point, the only thing left isn’t negotiation—it's whether some group will try to stall or block legislation that already has broad bipartisan support. Millions of Americans own crypto and are watching. It’s time to call the vote.

I often get asked about Coinbase's area of focus, since we build products for multiple customer segments. The answer is that we build better financial services powered by crypto technology. Crypto is updating every aspect of the financial system from trading to payments to tokenization to agentic finance (AiFi). We have a common platform we've built (custody, licenses, exchange liquidity, stablecoin integrations, fiat integrations, etc) that power all our products and give us economies of scale, and some network effects. By improving financial services for retail, advanced traders, businesses, institutions, and developers, we can leverage these common foundations, and make progress toward our mission of increasing economic freedom.
