First off, I want to thank God for all He has done. Blessed to have the best family, coaches, trainers, and teammates @TroupTigerFB who have supported me the whole way. After a lot of thought and prayer, I am excited to say I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Georgia Tech. I want to thank @CoachTimSalem @CoachBFarrell @JMorrisonCoach @CoachBrentKeyGT for believing in me and giving me the opportunity @GeorgiaTechFB . Proud to be Georgia born and raised and proud to be a Yellow Jacket. 🐝🐝🐝 @RecruitGeorgia @TroupRecruitz @tanner_glisson

McCarty Harrelson has been a real pleasure to work with over the last year. This kid is incredibly talented, and on top of being a great athlete, he’s extremely coachable and always willing to put in the work.
McCarty committed to Georgia Tech this past summer, and through his play this high school season, he’s continued to show that he is D1-ready right now.
He has the talent, work ethic, mindset, and all the intangibles you look for in a guy who has a chance to be special at the next level.
I’m excited to continue helping McCarty on this journey and watch him chase everything he’s capable of accomplishing. The future is bright for this kid!

POV: You’ve been begging Coach to put you in at something other than kicker or punter and refs back you up 15 on Kickoff… you get that @PatMcAfeeShow twitch. Even lost my helmet 🪖
