The UAE has signed four deals with OpenAI and will deploy its technology across several sectors in the country. Government: The Abu Dhabi government and OpenAI will launch an AI-native machine-readable government initiative, where AI-powered systems assist officials with routine regulatory compliance assessments. Energy: ADNOC will integrate OpenAI’s tools across its operations. Investments: Mubadala and Inception42 (a subsidiary of G42) have agreed to use OpenAI’s tech for investment analysis, opportunity identification, and risk assessment. Business and education: Inception42 has signed a five-year deal to roll out OpenAI’s tools across government, enterprise, and education. The deals align with Abu Dhabi’s goal to be the world’s first fully "AI-native" government across digital services by 2027. Binance, the world’s biggest crypto exchange by trading volume, just got hacked for more than $6 billion, in what’s being called the biggest such hack ever. What happened? Binance thinks hackers broke into an employee’s laptop. They used it to get into Binance’s system and send the money to themselves. Investigators at TRM Labs have traced the attack to a North Korean hacking group. Is your money safe? Binance says yes. It’s promised to cover every loss using its emergency fund and its own money. So far, about $3 billion of the stolen crypto has been frozen, which means the hackers can’t move or spend it. What can you do on Binance right now? You can still put money in, but you can’t take it out yet. Binance says withdrawals should become available within two days.
