The "good life" is a process, not a fixed state of being. This famous conclusion belongs to the American psychologist Carl Rogers ,one of the founders of humanistic psychology and reflects the idea that happiness and fulfillment are not a final destination where one arrives and comes to a halt, but rather a way of navigating through life. Life is in a state of constant change, a static "state of being" would imply rigidity. The good life requires flexibility in the face of challenges and the capacity for continuous readjustment. Fulfillment stems from evolution, from learning through mistakes, and from self-discovery. The moment you believe you have "arrived" at your destination, stagnation replaces growth. When you view life as a fixed state, you end up living perpetually in the future, waiting for specific conditions to be met. When you view it as a process, the focus shifts to your daily actions and experiences. Carl Rogers argued that a person living the "good life" is capable of listening to their own needs, accepting their emotions both positive and negative and fully experiencing every moment. In essence, the good life is not something we possess or attain; it is something we live out and actively build each day through our choices, our attitude, and our relationships.🤗🥰😘
