Flying is safer than ever, with global passenger numbers reaching 4.2 billion in 2023. Behind the scenes, ensuring aircraft safety requires rigorous processes, especially for avionics components. How do standards enhance aviation safety? ✈️ Aircraft safety requires ensuring all equipment, including thousands of electronic components, functions properly. Since many parts are adapted from other markets, the industry must have strict processes for safety and reliability. The IEC Technical Committee 107 develops international standards to ensure avionics are safe, reliable, and effective. Learn from aviation experts as panelists discuss IEC Standards and certification, highlighting how they reduce component failure risks and enhance aviation safety and efficiency. 🗓️ 28 January 2025 I ⏰ 12:00–13:00 UTC Register now and explore how standards keep the skies safe: iec.ch/academy/webinars/keep… #AviationSafety #Avionics #Standards #IEC #Safety #IECAcademy #IECevents #webinar #IECEmerginTech #innovation #IECQ
