5th Grade won the Panther Plaque Trophy the most times throughout the school year and celebrated today with a Super Party--enjoying pizza, soda, chocolate bars, candy, and ice cream!!! Congratulations 5th grade!

MCMS along with the entire school district would like to thank the MCR-1 Education Foundation for their hard work and dedication in helping our students and staff achieve great things. Miss Hudson, Mrs. Shinn, and Mrs Baymiller all received grants to help support students.

Mrs. Shoemaker and Miss Washington escorted students to the Children's Literature Festival at Truman State University. The students were able to meet with different authors- what got them started in writing books.

Winter Sports Recognition Ceremony, Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. where we will honor the hard work and accomplishments of our athletes this season. Refreshments will be provided in the HS cafeteria.

The Monroe City School District has partnered with Luxedo Court Mapping to bring a state-of-the-art projection mapping system to the high school gym, making Monroe City the first school in Missouri to boast this particular technology from Luxedo.
