There are moments in your career that become etched into your memory forever.
This is one of them.
Watching S40 survive the journey back through Earth’s atmosphere and land intact felt surreal. A dream that once seemed impossible is becoming reality before our eyes.
I’ll never forget today.
Congrats SpaceX team!

Q3 2026 highlights:
- Delivered revenue of $14.6 billion, up 161% year-over-year
- Successfully launched our first revenue-generating Starship mission, delivering 26 Starlink V3 satellites to our broadband constellation, representing approximately 10x the downlink capacity added by a Falcon 9 Starlink launch
- Added $6.7 billion of incremental Super Intelligence solutions and infrastructure revenue year-over-year, driven by cloud services agreements, the acquisition of Cursor, and our growing SI models and software applications, including @Grok @Bot
- Delivered year-over-year revenue growth of 69% and income from operations growth of 99% for the Connectivity segment, supported by strong momentum in enterprise and government adoption, and continued @Starlink consumer subscriber growth
- Continued to scale nameplate compute, reaching 1.7 GW as of September 30, 2026
I’ve spent my entire career working toward this moment.
Six years of my life dedicated to building the heat shield that will make this possible.
One day very soon, this won’t be a rendering. And when that day comes, I don’t know how I’ll process it…
This is what it’s all been for. 🚀
More exclusive details on the new Tesla Roadster from MotorTrend's new video:

Built to push the limits in flight, yet remarkably practical on the ground.
The F-104's design was shaped not only by performance, but by the demands of keeping a supersonic aircraft operational. ⚙️

My wife's friend is a flight attendant and took these pictures of the SpaceX launch yesterday, from 30,000ft.
Note the winglet, because, there's ALWAYS an aviation angle.
It’s hard to describe the emotion of seeing S40 standing tall at Starbase again.
Six years of my life dedicated to helping build a heat shield capable of surviving the unimaginable. And there she stands. Proof that every challenge, every failure, and every sleepless night was worth it.
She crossed the boundary of space, endured the fires of reentry, and found her way home.
Now she’ll help us build the Starships that take humanity even farther.
Welcome home, S40. You have no idea how much you mean to us. ❤️🚀
It’s hard to put into words what it feels like to watch her finally come home.
From the launchpad at Starbase, through the fire of atmospheric reentry, to the vast Indian Ocean and a journey spanning thousands of miles.
75 days at sea. The first Starship to survive an ocean landing intact. A heat shield that endured some of the most extreme conditions imaginable.
And now, against all odds, she’s home.
Knowing I played even a small part in making this possible is something I’ll carry with me forever.
Welcome home, S40. ❤️🚀
Ship 40 has passed Massey's now and is right in front of our CP11 cameras, more than halfway home now.

Finally got my new display setup! Shoutout to @OliviaStalvey for the amazing artwork!
Six years ago, I was just someone with a dream of being part of something bigger than myself.
Today, I get to work alongside some of the most brilliant, passionate, and determined people on the planet, building something that will change the course of human history.
What we’ve accomplished is extraordinary, but knowing what we’re working toward makes me even more excited for what comes next.
There is nowhere else on Earth I’d rather be, and no mission I’d rather dedicate my life to.

@SpaceX is an extraordinary company because of the remarkable people behind it and the audacious and existential goals we’re after. What we’ve accomplished is incredible, but what lies ahead is even more ambitious. None of it would be possible without this team’s talent, passion, and relentless determination. The best is yet to come.
