My end goal is to drive seamlessly anywhere on Earth, as long as thereβs data available for it.
The hard part is streaming and building the world live, while procedurally reconstructing terrain from inconsistent data across neighboring tiles.
Even here you can see some of the bugs Iβm still fighting: leftover LODs randomly spawning, and me simply outrunning the world streaming in.
Getting closer with every iteration though. Maybe one day Iβll even learn how to drive in-game.

super smash bros melee is fully decompiled, this project started in july 2020, so it took over 6 years. the progress was hugely accelerated by llms and finished off with astra. it's a very large game with 3.88mb of compiled code.
