We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build Midwest High Speed Rail.
In one possible right of way, Democrats will hold:
32 of 47 Congressional Districts
8 of 14 US Senators
4 of 7 State Trifectas
5 of 7 Governors
195ish of 301 State Legislative Districts

The media spent October obsessing over Abdul El-Sayed's "problem" with Jewish voters. The Washington Post, the NYT, NPR, and the AP ran constant articles.
In the end, El-Sayed got 60% of the Michigan Jewish vote, 1.3% less than Elissa Slotkin did in 2024. Michigan has 8M registered voters, and its population is 1.3% Jewish. So, back-of-the-napkin math means the media tried to center an issue that only mattered to about 1,350 voters in a race decided by over 300,000 votes.
The mainstream media is a joke.

This map is a better understanding of how the voter map looks. Instead of filling in empty land with red, it shows you the reality of who Republicans are. Those people hanging onto the fringes of America's great cities. They rely on the Urban areas they slander.

This is par the course for the Mayor's office but anti democratic and sad. the NAC plan fails to invest in the community and the project is getting half a billion in public investment

We're also going to: order rail cars, reform MDOT to take into account safety and sustainability and cost, finally get 50% for local bus ops at the state level, get transit from Detroit-Lansing-GR, and do transit-oriented development! Follow @DetroitTransit!!!

.@JocelynBenson & @amyactonoh, time to reconnect Michigan & Ohio by rail! How about an east side version of the South Shore Line between Fort Wayne, Toledo & Detroit? All electric like it used to be.
Jocelyn Benson tells me that, if elected governor, sheโd push to connect Michiganโs largest cities with high-speed rail. What would it take? bridgemi.com/michigan-governโฆ

Now is the time for Michigan to build the network it deserves!
