Rickea Jackson kicked off the month with a strong start, averaging (16.0) points, (5.7) rebounds, and (3.3) assists per game in Week 8.
She scored her first-ever 20-point performance in the WNBA against the Phoenix Mercury, showcasing her growing confidence on the court. Earlier in the week, she helped lead the Sparks to a win over the defending champion Las Vegas Aces, recording 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Jackson has a history of success against the Aces this season, having averaged 14.3 points on 50.0% shooting in their three previous meetings.
In her last four games, Jackson has been on a tear, averaging an astonishing 15.5 points per game while shooting 43.8% from the three-point range. With her hot streak showing no signs of slowing down, Jackson will look to keep up her impressive performance when the Los Angeles Sparks host the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday.
