Mike from PA. I never knew you were so well-read and knowledgeable about Brazilian criminal law, the powers of the STF, the specific case against Flavio Bolsonaro, and pre-trial measures in such cases. Could you come on my show to explain your views here? DM me for times.

He spent the entire primary arguing exactly what the ad portrays. He is distancing himself from himself.
El-Sayed campaign statement: "This ad is not affiliated in any way with the Abdul for Senate campaign. Abdul is focused on pushing back against Trump’s agenda that is raising prices for Michiganders. No one speaks for Abdul but himself and his campaign." #MISEN

One day after Lula was declared the winner of Brazil's elections, his opponent -- Sen. Flavio Bolsonaro -- just had had his passport seized by the Federal Police. Theose police were sent by notorious tyrant Judge Alexandre de Moraes. What a lovely democratic image.

It’s gross to fantasize about political prosecutions of Musk. It’s also gross to pursue meritless prosecutions of Trump’s enemies like James Comey (even though he also politicized the investigation of Trump). Our republic needs a ceasefire. Could one grown up just say, “Enough!”
The Bulwark crew is absolutely ecstatic over the idea of investigations and prosecutions of Elon Musk. Can barely contain themselves: "He has a body count like a f*cking war criminal. We start with the US Congress and it ends at The Hague for Elon Musk." "You've got $1 trillion, asshole. Start spending it on lawyers." "You don't hate him nearly enough." "There has been a series of meetings among House Democrats. Do you know what they're doing? Yes. They're carving up jurisdictions for who is going to Subpoena him to testify before which of them and for what." "Get a townhouse, big guy. Got a lot of nice brownstones right there by Capitol Hill." "Elon! You motherf*cker! You better pack a lunch cause your ass is gonna be living in the Capitol starting January of 2027." "I feel like my guys, Robert Garcia and Jamie Raskin are f*cking ready. They're loaded for bear." Same kind of people that've cried endlessly about the weaponization of justice are absolutely salivating over the idea of weaponizing justice against their political opposition.

You're running for governor of Ohio, ranked 42 out of 50 by @usnews, with high state & local taxes, slow business growth, below average jobs market, perpetual brain drain, and you're defending an ad w a mother who chose a child molester over her own kids. RIP, OHIO GOP
.@VivekGRamaswamy (R-OH) on ad against opponent Amy Acton (D-OH): "The irony is they're lying about an ad that is about lying... It had nothing to do with childhood abuse."

Ok - read it and weep everyone. I'm team Omar, lol! 1. First of all, I fear much greater damage to the country from politically directed investigations of enemies than from a single case of immigration fraud. 2. I think so many of us have known illegals, known of green card weddings, known of completely embellished visa applications. Melania Trump had an “extraordinary ability” that qualified her for the “Einstein” EB-1 visa? Immigration lawyers concoct embellished claims for visas all day long ("An industry of lies - see below). 3. I'm very aware of my own hypocrisies. As much as I dislike Omar, when I imagine her or her brother being deported, I immediately make a mental list of all the people I've known who would belong on that same list. 4. America has some responsibility here. For decades we signaled to the world that the paperwork was a formality. We needed the labor. We refused to get serious about making it hard for illegals to work. We floated amnesties. We had sanctuary cities, etc. We were flowers to the bees. 5. People will do things to help their families. If she lied to help her brother, I can understand the impulse. 6. The family came in 1995, when she was a kid. The paperwork was her father's. She did what she was advised to. And if the age was off, does anyone think she wouldn't have qualified on her own a year or two later? 7. These matters are 17 to 30 years old. Short of murder, how often do we go after things this old? I don't know the technicalities of the law here, but I know that most of us believe statutes of limitations make practical sense and are not immoral. And nobody thinks that the failure to investigate a 30-year-old robbery means that we have no recourse for robberies that happen today. 8. This is an appropriate matter for the press. They can expose the truth and the voters can make their decisions I don't like Ilhan Omar. So what? I know how America is supposed to work.
Using your logic there is no recourse and no ramifications for skirting our immigration laws which means there is no deterrent so we becomes de facto, a borderless country.

Video captured the tense moment a New Jersey mayor charged toward a resident in the middle of a township council meeting, forcing several people to intervene. Mayor Matthew Bianchini of Pemberton Township admits he lost his temper, saying: "I just basically snapped." The mayor claims the confrontation was prompted by disrespectful comments the resident allegedly directed at the mayor's wife and daughter, which the resident denies. The resident is seeking criminal charges and has called for the mayor to resign, while the mayor is defending his actions despite acknowledging he crossed a line. What the mayor says after the feud went viral: foxnews.com/politics/i-basic…

Why were you fired from fox, Eric?
Janice, I worked with both of you at Fox. I saw firsthand how Megyn backed you and helped elevate your career. Watching you publicly trash her now and slap “#meangirl” on it is fucking disgraceful. You can disagree with her without turning a friendship into ammunition for a public pile-on. You should be ashamed of this. @megynkelly, proud to call you my friend. I have your back.

Huge victory for Ukraine if this is true. Zelenskyy with help from his allies in America and Europe defeated the Russian invasion. a larger, richer, more powerful country invaded Ukraine and lost handily. Russia has destroyed its future to increase its land mass by 0.9%. Obviously terrible to lose any land but we can shift to helping Ukraine rebuild.
