This summer, I have noticed how important boredom is in a child's life. Being bored stimulates creativity in kids. Teachers- How can we help this creativity and keep it going?
We obviously don't want boring classrooms, but we do want students to be independently creative. What about this? One day, stop class, and say, "We need help understanding ___! You have this period to create something that will help us understand___."

Effective leadership is a major reason effective teachers remain in a school. Districts leaders, let make sure we are supporting, mentoring, encouraging, and appreciating our school administrators, so they do the same for their staff!

With the focus on standardized test, tech & programs, school systems don't value veteran teachers because they think they're easily replaced. But, like a Picasso or Beethoven it takes years to hone their craft (technique). We need them for their talent of creating masterpieces!
