𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐄. When I first joined this space, I admired people who always seemed to have everything figured out. Their success, their opportunities, the way things seemed to be working out for them. I wanted that for myself too. So I started reaching out to many of them. Some never replied. Others gave responses that were discouraging enough to make me question my own abilities. At some point, I even wondered whether people intentionally looked down on those who have not reached their level yet, or whether I was simply misunderstanding how things worked. Then I came across an audio record from one of the world richest man,Warren Buffett saying: "𝑃𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑝𝑎𝑦, 𝑣𝑎𝑙𝑢𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑔𝑒𝑡." That line stayed with me. I started thinking about it differently. Maybe the goal should not just be to get what successful people have, but to understand what makes them valuable in the first place. It also reminded me of a lesson often attributed to Andrew Carnegie: that creating wealth goes hand in hand with enriching others. And that's when something clicked. 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬. I realised I needed to stop focusing so much on being where others were and start focusing on becoming VALUABLE. Because I believe that when you consistently create value, relevance follows. 𝐌𝐘 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐄 𝟏𝟎: I'm glad I learnt that lesson of value. My vision from here, and for the future is to keep learning, building and creating so much value that my contribution speaks for itself. I want to be someone whose presence makes a difference, not just someone who wants to be noticed. This is my little contribution to Page 10 of the @MEXC Bitcoin Whitepaper Day campaign. If you could add one line or one lesson to Page 10, what would it be and what experience shaped it? I'd genuinely love to read yours in the comments. As you were. 🤍
