It’s an incredible experience to launch a new platform. Especially one as special as RTX Spark.
The most special thing is experiencing Nvidians from all over the company work together to produce incredible events, involve partners, media, and the community. I love this industry

Tom’s Hardware ran AgentPerf-Local, which measures how long the machine takes to finish complete agent workloads instead of just reporting tps.
On Qwen3.8-27B:
🟢 RTX Spark → 18.9 min
🍎 M5 Max → 24.7 min
🔴 Ryzen AI Max+ 395 → 42.1 min
And on the lighter Qwen3.6-35B-A3B:
🟢 RTX Spark → 8.08 min
🍎 M5 Max → 10.12 min
🔴 Ryzen AI Max+ 395 → 13.29 min
Same llama.cpp backend, built natively for CUDA / Metal / ROCm.
This is interesting because memory bandwidth alone didn't predict the winner.
The M5 Max has plenty of bandwidth, but still took ~31% longer than Spark on the Qwen3.8 run.
And Strix Halo took more than 2× as long.
⚠️ Tom’s tested a 15-inch RTX Spark laptop with a 140W adapter against a 14-inch M5 Max MacBook Pro with a 96W adapter.
RTX Spark is looking very strong.

Awesome day, @satyanadella!
Windows sparked a platform shift that created a new industry for NVIDIA. Then we invented programmable shading GPUs for DirectX, which led to CUDA.
Then we partnered to bring GPU supercomputers to Azure, which helped OpenAI train GPT. That collaboration inspired us to reinvent Windows for the age of personal agents.
4 years. Thousands of engineering years between us.
So proud of what we built together.
Great to partner with NVIDIA as we kick off this next chapter for Windows.
Thank you @JensenHuang and @sriramk for joining us today!
Looking forward to showing off (and saying) local AI over the coming days

We tested DLSS 5 in NBA 2K27 with every RTX 50-series GPU — first official release comes with a big performance hit, but almost every Blackwell card can run it at 1080p tomshardware.com/video-games…
If you’re at PAX, go and find @GeForce_JacobF !
Sad I can’t be there this weekend. Too much travel has caught up with me 🤒
Ryan is one of the few people who saw the DLSS 5 preview irl back in March - his in-depth take here is worth a few minutes of your time
DLSS 5 is shipping now, and I've spent a few days with it in NBA 2K27, the first game built to use it, running on a single RTX 5090.
The community mods that have been floating around showed the raw capability of @NVIDIAGeForce neural rendering, but NBA 2K27 shows what it looks like when a studio is directing where and how strongly it applies. Skin, hair, jerseys, the ball, even the spectators courtside benefit, and the performance cost is real (about half my frame rate at native 4K) but worth it.
I wrote up my full impressions, the developer control story, and why I think the developer-led approach is the right one.
👀
.@NBA2K 27 puts you courtside with NVIDIA DLSS 5 on GeForce RTX 50 Series and GeForce NOW.
DLSS 3D-Guided Neural Rendering infuses lifelike lighting and materials, tuned by the game’s developer, bringing new levels of detail to each fast break, ankle breaker, and game-winner.
I’ve been lucky enough to work in gaming and tech for over 2 decades; seeing a next-gen leap does not happen very often.
The team working on this are incredible - what ran on 2 x RTX 5090 in March is now across all 50 series and getting faster - more than a 5X leap in 6 months
DLSS 5 can look good, but slashing fps by up to 73% on an RTX 5080 rig is simply no bueno in 2026 pcgamer.com/hardware/graphic…
