Sources: Texas star left tackle Trevor Goosby will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury against Ole Miss on Saturday. Goosby is the country’s top NFL prospect at left tackle, as ESPN’s Field Yates ranked him the No. 8 pick in his most recent mock draft.
NOOOOO REALLY!?!?
WHO COULD HAVE EVER GUESSED THIS!?!
Folks...for the first time in 22 months....Tank Dell has made a play for the #Texans and it's a big one.

“Steve Sarkisian knows how to beat Top 10 teams…Texas, by the end of the year, will have arguably 3 of the biggest wins in college football.”
@MrColeThompson says last night’s win over Ole Miss was MASSIVE for Sark and the Horns.

CFB Top 10 Losers Week 8:
1. USC: This was the year for the Trojans. They had -17 rushing yards. You’re not going to the CFP & Riley likely fired.
2. Texas Tech: They were flirting with losing all year. Finally came crashing down.
3. Big 12 3 bid CFP chances: So many things went wrong. It’s possible, but unlikely. BYU, Utah, Arizona?
4. Miss St.: Dude…Kamario REALLY that important? It was 23-7 up until the near-2 minute timeout
5. Oregon: Losing 3 games before Halloween? Never thought we’d see it. Dan Lanning is fine….probably.
6. Big Ten offenses: One team scores more than 28. It was Northwestern vs. Rutgers.
7. Coaches on the hot seat: (Doren fired, Aranda, Dykes, Lupoi, Schiano,
Dabo, Lincoln all lost)
8. Clemson’s offense: When you hire Chad Morris, you don’t deserve 300 yards of offense.
9. CFB Playoff brackets: I don’t know who’s going and neither do you. It’s a guess right now.
10. SEC officiating: I don’t blame refs for losses, but MY GOD, it was BRUTAL on Saturday….AGAIN
CFB Top 10 Winners Week 8:
1. Texas: CFB Playoff hopes still alive, first half looked like team good enough to win it all…and did it short-handed
2. Wisconsin: Luke Fickell saved his job with this win. I knew not to give up on him! Camp Randall was awesome.
3. UCF: The response! Scott Frost back doing good things in Orlando!
4. Kentucky: Feels like a playoff team. Doesn’t make mistakes, never panics.
5. Utah: A 21-3 response behind Dampier & Parker. Defense delivered late. Rice-Eccles remains one of the greatest x-factors in CFB.
6. New Mexico: Lobos are ALIVE in the CFB Playoff race!
7. South Carolina: That’s the LaNorris Sellers everyone remembers. Might be too late to make the CFP, but Shane Beamer is close to 100% being back in 27
8. Coaches on Hot Seats: ( Fran Brown, Lance Leipold, Bill O’Brien, Scott Satterfield all won)
9. Cincinnati: Cody Campbell wouldn’t stop talking thins offseason. Bearcats DECIMATED the Red Raiders to get the last laugh.
10. Minnesota & P.J. Fleck: Coach is back having fun. He’s sleeping with Floyd tonight!
HM - Bret Bielema: In a year where an Illinois took a step back, that win could be the reason Illini make a bowl game.

1. It’s a win for CFB!

3. This won’t be the last time we see a “re-sign” announcement midseason.

Ole Miss at Texas has significant CFP implications
📌Horns have to get the run game going to take pressure off Arch & keep Trinidad Chambliss & the Rebs offense on the sidelines
📌Is the Rebs’ Landshark D back?
📌Texas 22-2 at home since 2023
👇Who wins: Ole Miss or Texas?
Ladies & Gents: Part 1 is complete. App State downs JMU.
