Students tackled a @gfletchy 3 act task today to deepen their understanding of ratios. After estimating, they learned that someone jump roped 38 times in 7 seconds and worked out how many jumps in 30 seconds. Amazing work and discussion!

Parents… If you send an encouraging email to your child’s teacher, please know there is a good chance they will print it out and save it in a file. They will reread it when they are feeling down. Your encouraging words will go a long way. P.S. It’s Teacher Appreciation Week.

A little late this year, but the tradition continued! Thanks for reading to my class each year for the past 10 years, dad! The kids always love it!

Students used @padlet today to demonstrate their understanding of multiplying decimals. They loved posting videos and commenting to show and explain their work to eachother!

I feel good for Kip Colony, writes @MPattersonOWH. The coach's squads have finished as the runner-up at state five times, but perseverance finally paid off with Omaha Skutt's championship win. #nebpreps omaha.com/sports/high-school…
