Most Web3 products don’t fail because the idea was bad.
A lot of them fail because the team started building too fast without properly thinking through the product itself.
I’ve worked with a Web3 team before as a project manager, and one thing I noticed early was how easy it is for people to focus on hype before structure.
Everybody wants:
tokenomics
partnerships
marketing
community growth
But nobody slows down enough to ask:
“Would people actually use this?”
As someone moving deeper into product management in Web3, I’ve been spending a lot of time studying products, communities, launch failures, and how strong teams operate differently.
Here are a few things I think more Web3 founders should pay attention to 🧵

from a product perspective, the interesting part isn't just the trades. it's how you turn those “do nothing” decisions into something users can understand and trust

Compare the two.
Anyone can build an agent that buys. The hard part is teaching it when to do nothing, and that's the test worth judging a trading system on.

One thing I like about what @Tribeswtf is building is that they’re not just trying to make another place to trade.
The goal is to make trading something you can actually do with other people.
You can discover markets and traders, share ideas and calls, trade together, and now they’re working on voice calls inside your Tribe.
So you could literally jump into a call with your trading group, talk about the market in real time and make decisions together.
This is starting to feel less like a trading app and more like a social trading space.
I’m curious to see how people actually use this when it goes live.

I've always found trading more interesting when there's someone to share ideas with, so this side of Tribes definitely makes sense to me
Been watching what @Tribeswtf is building and ngl, the social side of trading is what caught my attention.
Trading is usually such a solo thing. Tribes is trying to turn it into something you can actually do with your people discover plays, trade, share calls and compete together.
That feels way more interesting than another trading app.

imagine building a social trading app on crypto rails, taking fees from crypto traders, then saying there will never be a token because the endgame is an ipo. we chose the opposite. $TRIBES is for the trenches, with 50% of all app revenue used for automated buybacks and burns. this is how crypto should work.
