Val again. Express your anger to @obituarywriter and also write letters to the editor [email protected]… what a shameful piece of writing for a man who was so beloved
Hi everyone … this is Valerie Rick’s wife again. I have just written a letter to the editor of the Times regarding the so-called obituary for Rick…. I have heard nothing but love for the days since his death and they have published the most inappropriate obit ever .
Valerie again. i am going to keep this page open for people to express their feeling about Rick. I would love to know about the friends he made here. We had over 40 beautiful years together, and he was a light in so many people's lives..
Valerie again. We were working on a cd project in the months before his death, and it was finished the day before he died. Very special, very beautiful. A very very special man.
This is Valerie, Rick's wife. He particularly asked me to make sure that his Twitter friends were informed about his illness and his passing. His esophageal cancer metastasized and spread quickly. He died at home in my arms with his daughters close by. My heart is breaking.

This is Scott Peters (D-CA). His San Diego district voted for Biden 63% to 34%.
He just joined Republicans in voting against the $3.5T Build Back Better Act in committee. He also just voted against allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices.
Let's make @ScottPetersCA52 famous.

Just a casual reminder that in 1861, 11 Senators and 3 Representatives were expelled from Congress for failing to recognize Lincoln’s election and supporting insurrection.

Did you know that the #FreedomToVoteAct would prevent state lawmakers from overturning election results?
This provision is INSANELY popular: 66% of likely voters think this should be law. RT if you do, too.
@SenateDems: It's time to #PassFTVA and protect our freedom to vote!

90% of all Americans believe that Medicare should have the right to negotiate drug prices. Why don’t you @JoeManchinWV and @SenatorSinema? Why?

President Trump racked up nearly $8 trillion in debt, but now Republicans say they'll vote for default.
That would harm every American as we continue to recover from COVID.
We will work to raise the debt ceiling and avoid irreparable economic harm to the American people.
