While it looks and feels extremely premium, as it should at this price point, the overall software experience is good, apart from the unoptimised apps, which I feel will eventually get optimised. Nevertheless, here are my major gripes with it: 1. No Face ID. I never thought I would miss Face ID this much. I mean, don’t get me wrong, Touch ID works flawlessly every single time, but it will take some time to get used to if you’re coming from a regular iPhone, since it adds an extra step: placing your finger on the power button. 2. Cameras… How do I put it? They’re okay-ish for a foldable phone but pretty average for a phone priced this high. I miss my telephoto camera. And don’t even get me started on the 4MP under-display potato camera. 3. Volume buttons on the top. Why, Apple, why? I’m happy to sacrifice the Camera Control button to have the volume controls on the right side. 4. Pulling down the notification panel from the top-left corner requires some serious finger gymnastics. I end up activating Siri more than half the time. 5. Left-handed users might find it slightly harder to use. The dock is aligned to the right, which can make things a little awkward. At least opening the notification panel is easier for them. 6. It’s a chunky phone. You can definitely feel the weight, and combined with the wide form factor, it starts to take its toll during extended one-handed use.

iPhone Duo feels really premium in hand. I’ll give it that much.

Thank you, Marques, for this video. Someone had to call YouTube out for the sheer absurdity of their new features. Glad it came from you.

“iPhone 18 Pro has the same battery life as iPhone 17 Pro Max.” No. It doesn’t. Apple lied.

I love the iPhone 18 Pro Black, but Apple really needs to bundle their Polishing Cloth with this one 😭
