What counts as "knowing" something in math if no person can follow the proof? @OpenAI says an internal model produced 372 results on open math problems, many verified in Lean. If proof becomes "passes a machine checker," what changes in math class? #iteachmath #MathEd

3 questions I'm sitting with: 1. Should students learn to verify AI reasoning, not just produce their own? 2. Does "show your work" still mean the same thing? 3. How do we keep understanding at the center, not just correctness?

The @Brewers sweep the Dogers 4-0 and clinched a spot in the World Series last night. If the chances of winning were a coin flip (50/50), how likely is a 4–0 sweep? Let me know in the comments. Solution posted later. #WorldSeries #Brewers @MLB
