Coming into office to meet a mountain of arrears, deferred debt that would eventually need to be repaid, and an IMF program that had gone off track were all major challenges. And even after stabilizing the economy, and getting things largely under control in the first year, the second year starts with significant increases in global crude oil prices that could derail your disinflation path.
Has the definition of a major challenge changed?

This milestone reflects the impact of the upstream reforms being pursued under the leadership of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama to strengthen Ghana’s petroleum sector, attract responsible investment and unlock our hydrocarbon potential.
