We were so close to each other, I would have got a round of chips in for the resources you put up! 🤣

Here is a new app which I hope will help learners build confidence in rearranging Physics equations. No triangles here! 🙂drjonesphysics.com/equations

I imagine they've dropped the target so they can pat themselves on the back for hitting a higher percentage of recruitment...

This is really useful, as I couldn't find an interactive magnet lab with more than one magnet in it!

I got a nice photo through my telescope, it'll be good for teaching chromatic abberation!

Congratulations to you both!

We start year 9, doing the Triple content also allows us to persuade the big Of, that a 3 yr curriculum is justified

Oh damn! We have 9 a fortnight for everyone! I'd be more than happy to chat about our SoWs on how we get it in, and then all of that extra time is time to really nail hard topics

How many hours are S's on a fortnight?

Science teachers. I've been reading through this useful document on the language of Maths in Science. Free from @theASE. A very useful tome for Science teachers and one I have only come across this week: ase.org.uk/mathsinscience

At our school, all of our S's study Triple content but then will sit Triple H, CS H, CS F. We find teaching a wide breadth of knowledge helps. If CS F students are used to the high demands of Triple, then when they see the CS F paper they go 'oh this is really easy'

I set 25 questions takes ~30 mins to complete. That might be my missing step, putting it in to Do Nows, and contacting home, we do sanction for non-completion

Educake, appears to run similar to carousel. Set quizzes online, fairly easy to access questions

At our school, we run on a 2 week timetable. I set mine religiously same day, even if I don't see that class that day, I just remind them your homework day is Tuesday, it's due in and more will be set. Any tips on boosting completion rate? I'm sat at about 60%...

What book/article is that from? Definitely looks like a good read

What I wouldn't do then is Google what sci-hub proxies work and copy and paste the journal's URL into one of those, it would bypass the pay wall. But I would never do it because it's stealing intellectual property...
Entered all of our A Level Phys students in to the British Physics Olympiad, 3 have come back having qualified. All round excellent scores, and an excellent way to try out problem solving skills in a new and interesting way! Bring on the next round!
