@sasbhighschool Youth Forum spent a brilliant few days at the COS4 event this week. Delivering workshops to primary pupils about how growing our own plants and food connects us with nature and the environment. Lots of seeds being sown and brought back to schools/ homes near you!

Excellent opportunity to visit @NCLanarkshire and the brilliant CAD facilities. Some of our amazing S6 Graphics students will be studying here in August and our S2 loved their recent visit too.

Happy New Year and Welcome to 2026. Day 1 saw S2 form their plastic and take home their garden spinners and 100% for S1 in their colour theory recap task. Wow!

Excellent work by 2.9 who took their tealight holders home this week. Looking forward to seeing their skills transfer to our next project. Well done everyone.

This week S1 have been shining examples of our school values. Displaying Ambition when developing their perspective sketching skills and also demonstrating Help when working with each other to measure and mark their metal in the workshop. Fabulous π

Wonderful evening at the @sasbhighschool awards ceremony for the 2024/25 academic session. Absolutely bursting with pride as we celebrate the talents of our young people.
This is so true! Sometimes the most basic of things spark the imagination and leave you feeling inspired. Thanks to a wonderful colleague for taking the time this week to create that bit of extra sparkle when discussing our approaches to perspective sketching.
Last period on a Friday did not slow 2.9 down - what a hive of activity. Lots of removal of waste skills on show as they continue to manufacture their tealight holders. Great to see everyone helping each other with clamping and accuracy checks too. Well done folks π @SASB_tech
