Wise words, as always, from @jamesdyke21
Late to the party, but this is a raw and powerful reminder of the difference education makes. @katrionaos is an absolute powerhouse, but also a terrifying reminder that the system is broken. Poor does not equate to lack of talent, intelligence or ambition. We have to do better.
On the strength of this email & this tweet (& our tickets!) we arrived at 7.15 yesterday. Pretty gutted to find we'd already missed T Pau who must have performed to an almost empty arena! Not impressed @AOArena and @TicketmasterUK - accurate stage times shouldn't be beyond you!

Just for the record, I'm not remotely interested in objective information about US politics for the next 24 hours. I just want people to tell me it's all going to be OK.

We are very proud the Deputy Prime Minster @AngelaRayner has been an advocate of British Sign Language (BSL) having learnt BSL. Now it’s time to ensure BSL is placed in every deaf child’s hands because the system doesn’t offer free BSL to parents of deaf children #BSLinOurHands
Staunchly in my Taylor era.
To all those Tory voters who are undecided. If a person can fly in for a few days & do more for families that are food bank dependent than your government of the last14 years…? 🤔🤞 👍🏻

This week is Deaf Awareness Week. Some of you may know (and some of you will not, because she copes and masks so well) that my daughter is profoundly deaf in one ear. 1/4
The most powerful thing for Alex since her diagnosis has been discovering others in her life who also have single sided deafness (SSD) - Uncle Dave, a teacher at her school and our GP, to name just a few. This awareness has had a big impact on her and on us. 3/4
So, this week, I challenge you to do something to support those like my girl: learn some BSL, talk to your deaf friends about what makes it easier for them to communicate, or consider ways in which you can make your communication at work more inclusive 4/4 #DeafAwarenessWeek
You know that a school has done World Book Day right when you find your five year old like this just before bedtime. Making an English teacher Mummy proud 😊 Thank you @SandilandsPS!

QUEEN 👑 Love that Mary is showing a whole generation of girls (not to mention their Mums!) that girls can do it too. An amazing role model, and an absolute inspiration, who I am so happy that my girl looks up to.
