I just tried out #Copilot with my 3rd grade students to look up mysterious creatures for their narrative. It was great to have a quick list of words to use and to look up specific information. #MicrosoftEdu #MIEExpert
I have been quiet for a bit as I navigate a different teaching position for the year. I’m a Resource Room #SpEd teacher instead of K, working with K-5th grade.
Today I get to go back to my true self and am kicking off Tech Fun Friday. We are going to do tech tips around @MicrosoftEDU #accessibilitytools along with #readingprogress checks. My 4th and 5th graders are so excited to see data to help them grow. #MIEExpert #SpEd
By the way, every day is a tech day in my classroom. As I use products, we talk out the tools. I’m excited to have a day that all of my students remember to bring their devices and work on their accommodations that are already built into @MicrosoftEDU. #SpEd #MIEEXpert
This year has brought unexpected change into my life. We have less Kindergartners than expected so I have offered to teach Special Education Resource room for the year. The best part of it is I get to coach until November and I can’t wait to learn. I’m said to leave my Kinders.
With this change for the year, I have a lot to learn. I’m excited that I am continuing on with the #MicrosoftEdu Expert community and I can’t wait to learn from other #MIEE teachers and other Special Education educators.
1st day of summer break for me. One kid already packed for camp and another in the process. I think I have a date with my hammock and a good book this afternoon.
School ended Friday, went to San Juan Island for the weekend with my family, and did my #MIEExpert reapplication tonight with 3 hours to spare. Great way to start summer break.
How do you help your kids find joy in the last week that we spent at Disney when your best friend died the day after he left our vacation? We had a great week until we found out that he unexpectedly passed away. We are thankful we got to spend the last week of his life with him.
As we plan our 1st trip to #DisneyWorld, my teenage daughter is asking #ChatGPT what she should pack and what she should do for her birthday.

Today’s lessons with @girlscouts cookies sales. @Square is super easy to use Apple Pay. Cash is still the preferred method and a great math lesson. The younger girls are super cute but remember that there are high schoolers still in #GirlScouts.
