Practicing weather vocabulary and oral language, students played a game asking each other what type of weather they landed on! They had so much fun and practiced asking and answering questions, vocabulary, and counting skills. @ParkHillSchools

So to finish our learning of ordinal words and introduce rhyming words, my oral language students will put on a performance of “5 little pumpkins”. I am so excited!

Practicing ordinal words through songs, movement, literacy, and hands on activities! Love seeing the language development, especially when it is used organically in their conversations and writing! @ParkHillSchools

Today we worked on speaking and listening while practicing the letter p sound with partner reading!

So, just got the best gift from a student today. She knows how much water I drink a day, + I have a matching crayon shirt! When I asked why the gift, she replied, “because you are awesome and I will miss you” :(. Being honest, I almost cried. I needed those words today!

Congratulations my beautiful girl!!!! So proud of you @UribeBethany

Now on to Cat Cities. Working collaboratively to draw and label all the things cats do (while practicing our phonics vowel teams and endings). @NKCSchools

What do you do when testing is done? Theme days!!! Today is cat day. First, we practice sensory words/details by writing sensory poems with 3D cats! @NKCSchools

THIS IS EVERYTHING! The two lives of my life. One finishing her high school journey, the other just beginning! @NKCSchools @NKCEarlyed
