Yes @ToddSmithPC what are your plans to keep students and education workers safe in these dangerous conditions especially in un air conditioned schools?

A dangerous heat wave is headed to Ontario. What is the plan for schools without A/C? How are students and education workers expected to endure such unsafe learning and working conditions? Please let us know what is happening at your family's school/s. #onted @ToddSmithPC

It’s going to feel like 40+ degrees this week, and most schools don’t have AC, nor enough shaded outdoor spaces. Last year we had smoke days. This year we’re having heat days. As the climate crisis accelerates, what’s the plan for Ontario schools? #onted

Let's make a deal - no A/C for the adults at the Ministry or Board offices unless there is A/C for the kids in the classrooms of Ontario. 🤷‍♂️ If we made that deal, imagine how fast things would change, for kids. Doug Ford - invest in safe schools now! #OntEd #heat #onpoli

Shoutout to @CityNatasha for specifically expressing concern for unairconditioned schools during this week's heat wave. Do your best to stay safe and cool, everyone. #OntEd.

I bet there’s not a school board in this province that doesn’t have AC in their main office building… #OntEd

"Classrooms can reach over 40°C with humidity for much of May and June. If parents could feel the heat in their child's classroom, I believe they would be extremely upset." Share your own experience where heat impacted your work and health: ofl.ca/the-heat-is-on/ #TheHeatIsOn
