Just like that #GECDSBSLP2020 has come to an end. Grateful for my team of Ts that rose to the challenge, making this an awesome camp experience for our Ss. Thank you @pelaccin, @MrsRandMsC, @smonrobaker, @MissHElmi, @MBrochert, @MissKellyGECDSB, @Mlle_Papineau and @jillian_pizzo!

Students love @MathletePearce 3 act tasks! We discussed volume and capacity and students made predictions on how many water bottles it would take to fill the 2L bottle. Nicolas-“I think it will take 3 because it looks like 1/3 of the size” @MrBurkhart123 @gecdsbpro #GECDSBSLP2020
After reading, “A Different Pond” using @myONreader. We discussed the events in the story. Students then completed a text to self connection and placed numbers on the illustrations in sequential order. - Mrs. Rodgers @MrBurkhart123 @gecdsbpro #GECDSBSLP2020

Today we read Jabari Jumps, we discussed how Jabari overcomes his fear and jumps off of the diving board. Doha shared that Jabari was proud of himself after jumping and that she feels proud when she overcomes her fears too! -Mrs. Rodgers @MrBurkhart123 @gecdsbpro #GECDSBSLP2020
