“I found a book like The Most Magnificent Thing. Cave Boy uses tools, too.” - We were so excited when a friend shared, read, and talked about the connections he made to what we’ve been learning in EL. Kids can do read alouds too! 🤩 @LHECMES
Day 1 of Magnificent Thing construction was a huge success. We’ve come so far with our collaboration skills in such a short amount of time ✂️🖍 @LHECMES
This morning’s tech workstation was all about choice and comprehension. We used QR codes to choose an autumn text that interested us, and then practiced all of the text evidence finding strategies we’ve been learning in EL 🍂 @LHECMES
Orange you glad it’s FriYAY? We worked together to peel oranges, look for seeds, learn about how oranges grow, and then shared our sweet treat during our Green Thumb expedition🍊 @LHECMES
Sight word games + conflict resolution and communication practice during literacy work stations this morning...plus a super sweet message for some midweek warm fuzzies 🥰 @LHECMES
