Superintendent Watson had a great morning at the GPS Girls STEMpowered event @GPS_District. 170+ young women, grades 5-12, from 39 schools came for a day of planning, engineering, building & programming. He also ran into Mayor Brigette Peterson @GilbertAZMayor & Dr. Shane McCord

So inspired by the @GPS_District Girls STEMpowered event. 180 young women, grades 5-12, from 39 schools working together for a day of science, technology, engineering & math… plus creativity! So fun to run into GPS team members, Dr. Shane McCord & Superintendent Watson!
