I love it when you are playing around with a hypothesis in your mind and then Allah confirms it instantly. I’ve been thinking a lot about adding playfulness back into my life. How did I start doing that?

See my day to day life as fun. All my utensils and stuff are like toys. From dumbbells to even my stickers and pencils. And right when I am trying to be more intentional about incorporating that idea into my life…. I come across this book on Libby.

Don't spend too much time around someone whose primary way of engaging with life is as a martyr. When suffering becomes your identity, you only see the hard parts of life.

Had this conversation with some children today that “play” is important in adult life as well. For me it’s cooking, cleaning, organizing, painting, drawing, reading, etc… For my husband it’s woodworking, driving, building robots with our kids…
Not enough adults are understanding that they have to create moments of happiness in their lives. Find things to be excited about. Create plans to look forward to. Decorate the house during holidays. Make a playlist you only listen to on Tuesdays. Keep your favorite snacks stocked in case of a bad day. You have more control over your joy than you think.

Your humble reminder: “If we don’t take care of our bodies, where are we going to live?”

Time and time again I get reminded how important it is to take time out for myself. I literally operate from a full cup.

Jamaica is the same way. People welcome kids with smiles and enthusiam.
The attitude toward children in Mexico couldn't be more different than the U.S. Children aren't merely tolerated, they're actively welcomed everywhere. And not in a weird, overly patronizing way They're just expected to be part of any typical adult situation, not tucked away in a safety-labeled, anesthetized, parallel kids' world

Spend all day resetting the house after hosting for a whole week. As much as I love having people over I also love getting back on routines.

A quick tip on how to implement these prayers into your daily life. Split them up. Anchor them to things you already do. 10 Durood while brushing your teeth. 10 Istaghfar when starting the car. Before and after Namaz. On your walk. Right before falling asleep…
Based on a vision of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih III (rh), to safeguard against Satan and for Allah's Protection, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba) relaunched the following appeal. All Ahmadi Muslims should recite these prayers often. #MTAi #MTAUSA

I also find it so important to really ponder over these prayers. Consciously reminding myself what I am reciting, rather than it just becoming a mindless habit. May we all stay protected from Satan & bring about a spiritual revolution within us as well as into this world 🙏
