Fourth graders had the AMAZING opportunity to speak with an Environmental Engineer that worked on the Onondaga Lake clean up project. The kids had so many questions and some now think they may want to be environmental scientists! @PBLWorks @SyracuseSchools @PorterElemSCSD
I am excited to use self paced near pods for students to reteach themselves or remind their brains about different concepts!

On a day for the history books, @TheAmandaGorman delivered a poem that more than met the moment. Young people like her are proof that "there is always light, if only we're brave enough to see it; if only we're brave enough to be it."
Thank you Tonya Kelly in the @Seesaw com. library for this awesome Inauguration Day activity. Thanks @DrBiden for hosting a kid’s version! Stay tuned for @PorterElemSCSD drawings, letters and responses to today’s events #SCSDSuccess @AshleaVilello @motto513
