This week Dirk Nowitsky surprised the teachers at Roosevelt. The entire time I couldn't get past how fantastically managed the school is. All the adults were outside and the Ss not once stepped out of line. No fires at all in the building. That's leadership. #brickbybrick

BREAKING: A federal district court just struck down a provision of sweeping anti-voter law S.B. 1 that restricted crucial get-out-the-vote efforts in Texas.
This is a win for voting rights in the state, and for the organizations that help keep elections accessible.

Like Vice President Harris, Governor @Tim_Walz believes that government works to serve us. Not just some of us, but all of us. That’s what makes him an outstanding governor, and that’s what will make him an even better vice president. Michelle and I couldn’t be happier for Tim and Gwen, their family, and our country.

A man just collapsed at the ATL airport. Unresponsive. Not breathing. Turning blue. All in an instant, strangers raced to his aid—some administering CPR, others grabbing the defibrillators nearby—as several of us stood praying. After a scary minute or so, he kicked a leg and started breathing,
It would be another 5 minutes before paramedics arrived on the scene. Were it not for the immediate action taken by those strangers—people who knew nothing about this man, people who would soon scatter to their own destinations, people this man will never get the opportunity to thank—he would be dead right now, headed to the morgue instead of home to his family.
A vivid reminder of our shared humanity. One I won’t soon forget.
