Huge shoutout to the PTA and volunteers who helped put this show together! I could NOT have done it without you!

The cutest little spiderwebs you ever did see! 1st grade learned about the unique art of Michael Anthony Simon and enjoyed a read aloud of "Sophie's Masterpiece" by Eileen Spinelli, before weaving their own colorful webs. @Strawbridg_HTSD @VanSciver_HTSD
I'm a bit late on posting my @Strawbridg_HTSD March Featured Artists! They've been displayed all month long, and here they are for you to see :)
Happy Youth Art Month! Here are the latest Featured Artists from @VanSciver_HTSD 🤩
I’ve set up virtual visits with the artist Reggie Laurent for the past 3 years, and he is one of the most down-to-earth, inspiring and humble humans I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. He deserves better, as do many uncredited artists being referenced on TpT.
Strawbridge’s collaborative artwork is officially up on display. Inspired by the artist and author Diane Alber, and her picture book “Sticks”. @Strawbridg_HTSD
These didn't make it in time for the art show, but I love how they turned out! 3rd grade met the artist Reggie Laurent earlier this year via Zoom, and they have recently finished up their artworks inspired by his signature "DNA" style. @VanSciver_HTSD @Strawbridg_HTSD 😍
Got a lot of this display up today to celebrate Black History Month. It will remain up and continue to grow throughout the year, as I believe it is important to teach a diverse group of artists and styles all year long.
2nd grade rocked these earlier this year, just a few weeks before the amazing artist who inspired them sadly passed away. These sculptures are now an even sweeter nod to a talented painter. RIP Wayne Thiebaud, and Happy Valentines Day to all! @VanSciver_HTSD @Strawbridg_HTSD
It's always magical when you finally get 5th grade to buy into what you've been working on. Our Origami relief sculptures are coming out beautifully! Here's a sneak peak for your enjoyment. 🤩 @Strawbridg_HTSD @VanSciver_HTSD
RIP - Pictures of 2nd grade Thiebaud inspired art coming soon 💕

Second round of Featured Artists at @VanSciver_HTSD Keep up the great work everyone!
Here are some new Featured Artists at @Strawbridg_HTSD 😊❤️
Our first @Strawbridg_HTSD Featured Artists display is almost complete! New artworks coming in a week (or 2 😉).
2nd grade’s fall leaf paintings are coming along nicely. We learned about the artist Leonardo Da Vinci, and his love of studying things in nature. After carefully studying our leaves, we drew the contour lines. Now we are painting them using warm colors (and mixing colors)!
1st grade is finishing collages inspired by the book “Snippets” by Diane Alber! They learned about backgrounds, shape, color, collage and how much fun shapes (and people) can have when they work with those that are different from them. @VanSciver_HTSD @Strawbridg_HTSD
